Hello, fellow dog lovers.

lexi and chloe simplycb

I see you have found our page. Great!! this a community where we can share fun and interesting stories about our dogs. A place to learn and grow together. My girlfriend Alexis and I decided to start SimplyCB after learning about the importance of providing healthy supplements for our dogs.

 Chloe & Zoey

Zoey is a black lab German shepherd mix šŸ¶ She was 15 years old. Chloe is a Siberian Husky From the pound. Both are rescue dogs. Alexis adopted Zoey at 1 year old. When Alexis was younger she volunteered to help adopt out the dogs for ASPCA. She brought them home and would care for them till the weekend then she would take them to the store to be adopted. Zoey was one of the dogs she brought home. That wasnā€™t supposed to be Zoey’s forever home, but right before it was time to leave Zoey would get really stressed and upset. This happened every time and when they did manage to bring her on the weekends she would cry and cry until Alexis took her out of the cage and stayed with her. After a few weeks, the adoption center told her that she should consider keeping Zoey because Zoey had already picked out her new owner. She did just that and now Alexis and I have had Zoey ever since, for over 12 years now. ( Update Zoey passed away in her sleep on September 13, 2019, she was 15 years old)

Chloe

Chloe was given to us by a neighbor her original name was Porsche. He said that she had come from the pound. The original owners bought her from Russia and lived in San Francisco. My neighbor said they were moving back to Russia and could not keep her. So they left her with a friend the friend could not handle her. Porsche ended up at the Pound. My neighbor had a friend in the pound that knew he also had a husky so he called him to see if he could take her. After a week with her, he decided he didn’t want another dog so he asked us if we wanted her. He gave Chloe to my brother after one day with her she ripped up the floor in his room and scared the heck out of him so we gladly took her. As soon as we saw her we knew she had found her forever home. Chloe is the sweetest girl in the world.

Why did we start a supplement company for dogs?

As our dog Zoey got older the vet recommended giving her fish oil for her energy levels and mobility. He said to do your research before giving her just any old supplement some of the biggest brands out there sell cheap products that are manufactured overseas. They are more concerned with profits than the health of your dogs. I was shocked to find that some of the well-known supplements are bad for our dogs.

We started looking into healthy supplements for our dogs. That’s when we came across the cold-pressed soft chew supplements for dogs. We knew we just had to use this method.

Cold pressing is different from the traditional way dog supplements and dog food is made. In the cold-press process, the ingredients are mixed together and pressed at 45 degrees Celsius for a few seconds. The end results are a small tasty treat with the nutritional integrity still intact.

This means that the enzymes meat fibers and omega -3 are still bioavailable for your pets. It’s also more pliable so there is no need to add palatability enhancers or any other additives. Another benefit is that it is easier on your dog’s stomach especially if they are prone to bloat and gastric expansion. It is denser than cooked kibbles and won’t float in your pup’s stomach making it digest quicker rather than expanding. The cold press process with high-quality ingredients also makes the supplements great for dogs who are on raw diets.

How we made our treats

The cold press process is only one step in making a great high-quality soft chew. The most important components are the raw ingredients. A supplement is only as good as the ingredients used.
We learned a lot along the way we want to share with you some of the best ways to help your dog live a long and healthy life. That’s why we started out on this journey. Alexis and I want to improve the lives of our two girls they are our family. We wanted a company you could love and trust. We care about your dogs just as much as you do!

That’s why we only use the highest quality ingredients, with no Corn, Wheat, Sugar, Salt or Gumming Agents, Artificial Preservatives & Colors. One of the reasons that we are so proud of our Super salmon oil soft chew. We use Wild Alaskan salmon oil sourced from Iceland it is always better to choose the wild Alaskan salmon over the farm-raised salmon. The fish oil soft chews are rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids that support the immune system, heart health, anti-inflammatory properties, healthy skin and coat, and cognitive function. We notice that Zoey is more clear now she is still getting old but.she is much more alert.

Kelp

We added Kelp with the fish oil liquid before it is pressed to increase the amount of omega-3 from plants.
There are different types of omega 3 because both provide different nutritional value. We didn’t want to decide whether to make a plant-based supplement or an animal-based supplement so we combined the two to get the best of both worlds.
In our research, we found the kelp is supposed to enhance your dog’s immune system. Kelp improves metabolism and is rich in Iodine and supports the Endocrine Glands. Another reason to include kelp is that it is nutrient-rich in minerals and Vitamins A, B, E, D & K. Also contains Sodium Alginate which helps remove heavy metals from the dog’s system.

Vitamin C

orange

We added some important Vitamins as well that’s why we included Ascorbic Acid – a source of Vitamin C and Vitamin E (tocopherols
Vitamin C helps to add Immune system support. This can be especially beneficial for dogs that are stressed or older like Zoey that can’t produce enough Vitamin C naturally.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant protecting your dog against free radicals. it has helped with anti-inflammatory situations, aggregation, and immune enhancement. Its also said to be Known to reduce shedding even during the peak times of the year.

In conclusion

Overall we are genuinely excited to bring this soft chew to the market We feel our salmon snacks are exactly what we wanted for our own girls Chloe and Zoey! We know that we are not the only ones that feel this way about our dogs. Please feel free to share your story about how you got your dog or dogs with us or any questions or concerns. 1. I wanted to ask about the ingredients of your dog supplements. I read that palm fruit oil is toxic for dogs. Admittedly, I know nothing about this, but wanted to ask if the concern is due to where the palm fruit oil is derived, amount of palm fruit oil dispensed, quality of palm fruit oil, etc. Can you help me understand and possibly address how the palm fruit oil would not be an issue in your product? I have 4 large dogs – German Shepherd/Lab/Rott mix, and 3 labs. Iā€™m looking for a supplement for the skin, bones, and overall health. Thanks so much!

  2. I saw an ad for a septic tank treatment and it said your website name paid for it. But I donā€™t see such a product on your site. Was it an error?

  3. I have 2 French bulldogs, one sheds horribly, I have ordered this product, and hope it helps

  4. Hello, I just ordered your salmon fish oil chews. I have 2 twelve year old shi Tzus. I just recently put them on a raw diet. Do these chews contain all of the vitamins that my dogs need now since they arenā€™t on commercial dogs food? What about calcium supplements? Do you have a chew for that? I am really impressed by your cold pressing method to preserve the nutritional integrity of ingredients. I also give one of my dogs a cranberry chew for bladder health. Are you going to develop other chews like that one?
